The Hockey team hosted their home opener on Friday at Griffs Georgetown against crosstown rival - the Eagles of Hudsonville. The Cats took an early 1-0 lead before the Eagles scored 3 unanswered goals to end the 1st period. The Cats would storm back scoring their own trio of goals to take a 4-3 lead late into the 3rd period. The Eagles added a late goal to tie the game at 4-4 and force OT. Minutes into the OT period the Cats were able to put a quality shot on net that found the back of the net. Cats win 5-4!
