Over the weekend the Boys Waterpolo team (comprised of Jenison and Grandville Student Athletes) completed in the MWPA State Finals tournament. Game 1 (Quarter Finals) - Jenison defeated Saline by a score of 18-8 Game 2 (Semi Finals) - Jenison defeated Hudsonville by a score of 10-4 Finals (State Championship) - Jenison defeated Ann Arbor Pioneer by a score of 14-12 The State Championship for the Boys Waterpolo team is the 2nd in school history in Boys Waterpolo. The First since 1995! Ty Vanderwall (Grandville) was named Tournament MVP and All State 1st Team. Brady Sweedyk (Jenison) was named All State 2nd Team. Oliver Ottenwess (Grandville) was named All State 2nd Team. Congratulations to these student athletes on a great season and their outstanding accomplishments!
